TEKS-Aligned Math Big Ideas: Grades 6, 7, & 8

The charts below present math TEKS for all three grades as performance questions that students themselves can easily pose and try to answer. The chart brings the TEKS alive in terms of their big math ideas per strand and per objective. These TEKS-aligned ideas in turn help 1) clarify best practices in pedagogy for teaching them and 2) clarify exactly what students must know from grade to grade.
